Rarely have I had my jaw drop on the floor as much as it did when I played ME2, and while I love KotOR, it simply has to recognize its superior now.Vedran Radić (born October 8, 1993, in Split) is a Croatian journalist. It's not necessarily about depth of gameplay, it's about the intensity of the story experience. It's why I like KotOR but also like Halo. I love games with a cinematic feel to them. ME2 managed to knock it off it's throne for this reason: if KotOR was what got me into strong storydriven games, then ME2 perfects them. KotOR for me revolutionized how I approach games and it's been my favourite game since my first playthrough.
If Kotor hadn't have come about I would have actually like Halo 3.I'm pretty much in the same situation. Kotor began my love of what I call a, "Cinegame" TM.
It was more about the story, your character etc etc. I didn't play for the quick rush or the head shot after that. Seriously, ME2 and KOTOR are my two favorite games. Better graphics does not always mean the latest games are better, I hope CA will realise this one day But compared to this, BG2 was much more hardcore and kept me playing for a lot longer. The first playthrough I got what I paid for though, so I shouldn't moan. Nightmare is also hardly any different to hard difficulty and I think this is more a game for the casual gamer. Watch the same movies? and fight the same fights again and again? What can you do in this game after a few playthroughs? Character building on itself is boring. But I don't think the game had great replayability value. The story and the characters were all so well written.

It's all about personal preferences I guess, but I don't like where this game is heading.Yup, Dragon Age was easily the best PC game of 2009 for me.
ME2 lacks half of these things, it's more about action and less about RPG. Vast inventory, solid skills and level ups, you can control your party members. It's an RPG and you role play for good since you can choose different backgrounds, each brining a new touch. You later find out there were only 2 huge ones, but it doesn't matter by then. You really have the illusion of having 100 different choices in the main quest.
